Today my very first Amazon order just arrived: Intelligent Data Analysis - a Data Mining book that I saw at Kurt Thearling personal website. I’m really into learning Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery in Databases, I find it quite an interesting (and useful) subject.
It took almost 4 weeks for the book to arrive, I’ve already started reading and seems quite good… I also bought another Data Mining book - a Portuguese one - it’s so[echo str_repeat('o', 23);] lame that I’ve found myself thinking of how dificult would it be to write and publish a book of my own. After I finish reading the eight books I’m currently reading (damn, I’ve been reading a lot this summer!) and if I get this now ambiguous data mining thing right I might consider buying “Data Mining Techniques: For Marketing, Sales, and Customer Relationship Management“, seems like a good book to me.
