The same thing happened to me a couple of months ago. I left my computer on when I left, and when I came back I could move the mouse, but that's all. Then I shut it down, brought it back up and it died. Luckily it was still under warranty, but I lost a lot of irreplaceable info. I guess I didn't need it anyway!
